I have a 40 breeder plumbed to a Rubbermaid tub with live rock and a heater. Looks and works like all my other tanks. Detritus just builds up and detritus build up at bottom of the tub but you can filter it out as needed

So you still have a sump? I was thinking legit nothing but the tank. Maybe a hang on back to house the heater at most.

Petcos 50% sale has me thinking of trying it.

Figured out @Redfoxtang lives just down the road from me. Grabbed some frags and went to visit. Fun time getting to meet a fellow reef keeper in person. We live like 12 miles apart.
