Is the overflow box acrylic? You could cut out the bottom and replace it with a panel that you drill 2 holes in. At least you could run a main and an emergency drain that way.

Or - is it deep enough to add 2 bulkheads through the back or sides? Use the existing one for the drain and plumb the other 2 for bean animal style.

Will examine when I get home!

Anyone have a uv sterilizer they can loan for a month so I can get rid of some Dinos in seahorse tank?

Get a cheapo UV light off amazon. That's what I did for my small QT tank as the water would get cloudy. Dropped it in there and 3 days later water is crystal clear
