My lights are ramping down but here is my Fiji yellow.

Yeah I bet that sucker is a real nice yellow once the lights are whiter. I rarely see true yellow corals. I have one that grows at the speed of smell that I forgot about in one of my frag tanks. I saw it the other day for the first time in forever and it's gotten nice and big! I don't remember what kind of coral it is though. I'll have to take a picture of it tomorrow, if I remember. It was a frag a friend gave me to bank his massive colony. I think he lost the colony though. It was a good 14" across, but then again, that was small for his tank. He had three 10'x4'x3' tanks. I'll have to let him know that mine is big enough to frag now so he can have a piece back.

I like it so much I bought some replacement LEDs and intend to replace the shorted out ones but my soldering iron wasn't getting hot enough to remove the old LEDs.

I've never fragged a softie before. I see you can just cut them with scissors and already bought these https://oceanboxdesigns.com/product/clip-on-softies-saver-for-0-75-frag-plugs/

Just get some clean scissors and go to town. We have a butt ton of meat sheers around the house and those would work too. Having said that, It's been forever since I fragged one. They just drop off parts of the tops pretty regularly that attach to something else and grow into colonies, then i sell them off.

You still haven't answered my question :D
Well, to answer your question... I took it apart, blew all the dust out, put it back together, and plugged it back in to test it. When it didn't work, I went and jumped each LED to find which ones were burnt out and found 6 that had shorted.

ETA: Short answer, yes but also more.

Well, between my friend and me, we run about 30 of them at any given moment. We periodically have some of them break, but we hang on to them. There are very few parts to those lights, so you can use the unbroken parts to repair the other ones. Not saying you should buy 30 of them to fix the one, but it's always an option :)
