Looks good! How long has the new tank been up? It was 13 years before I upgraded my first reef ready tank.

Hello Okies.
I grew up in Mustang. And shopped at aquarium concepts in OKC back in the 80's and 90's. Jessy and his dad owned it.

I grew up in Mustang also and fondly remember Aquarium Concepts. We have numerous members around the Yukon/Mustang area. My first “live rock” came from AC and I scored and nice brain coral growing on it.

We also have a very nice LFS close in Bethany, Prestige Worldwide Corals.

Older thread but new to the marine tanks. In owasso, Oklahoma (just north of Tulsa) my tank is closing in on 1 month old. 56 gallon, base rock and live sand added 2 weeks ago. Cycle is nearly done measuring 0 ammonia for a few days now. Almost ready to add my CUC

Got a few new additions since the last post. Added 1 lightning maroon and 1 thunder maroon, (1 1/2 inches to the 3 inch thunder, white in the pic, came with her own GBTA), a few weeks ago. They pretty much ignore one another the whole time. Last week, added 1 elibi dwarf angelfish, 1 skunk cleaner, and a diamond watchman goby. All parameters are great,
SG-1.025
Ammonia-0
Nitrites-0
Nitrates-10+/-
PH-8.3
Some of the CUC has died off, and I suspect one of the fish if not all have killed my 4 emeralds, some snails, and my peppermint shrimp. I actually saw a crab claw resting against the glass, must've been gory.

The nem deflates at least once every other day. But then pops back out at night happily. Scared the crap out of me the first few times I saw this. The thunder maroon hosts it, and has gotten me a few times just trying to clean the tanks. Thought people were just hyping up the aggression of these fish. Luckily, theres been no fights between any of the fish. Every now and then she'll venture away from the nem to the other clown and snap a bit, but he always gets away unscathed.
