Santa Monica Drop 1.2x - No Algae Production

I've been running this since end of January when I was struggling with some HA issues.
99% of the HA is gone but I've never been able to get this thing to produce any algae.
I've tried various hours of light with no difference.
I just opened it now for the first time in a couple months and still nothing.
I keep my no3 around 6ppm and po4 around .1ppm but I do have to dose to keep them there.
Maybe my tank is just too clean?

Not quite the same but I'm running a surf 4. I started the tank in February and am now cleaning it every few days. N has been 8- 12. P has gone from 0.35 to 0.12. Maybe @VintageReefer can help out. He's pretty knowledgeable on the Santa Monica units and has helped me out. This is what I'm pulling every few days. I'm gradually lowering the light to get the alage to darken up a bit.
