Well I can't find the crab, usually tucked away in some rock crevice. I'd guess he died and being scavenged. Should I remove it or let be? Starfish has just moved on from feeding on itSlow internet today, so I can't load the video. I'd imagine that's either a molt being scavenged, or the crab died of something and is now being scavenged.
Finished putting up halloween decor and came back to remove crab and looks like starfish is going to save me the trouble. Looks likes he's getting it down from the skin protrudingPull it out and see if it's a molt or not. If it stinks, it's a dead crab, and you probably shouldn't leave it in there to rot. If it has little to no smell, it's a molt, and you can either dispose of it or put it back and let it be scavenged.
