I just started using a saltwater well for my lobster tanks. I'm getting ready to shock it but was wondering is it more common to get bacteria type growth in a saltwater well more than a freshwater well. Also was wondering once it's shocked and I run it back through the system is it okay to just run it into my sand filter and let it sit .or am I going to have to just change out the sand. Any helpful information would be highly appreciated

Pretty much everything you’re gonna get in “meet and greet” is an auto-reply. Post your question in a different forum if you want more eyes on it.

I find more bacterial growth occurs in FW and more sediment from salt mix in SW storage container

Hello and Welcome! You're gonna want to repost your query under a sub-forum such as Generalized Reef Discussion or the like. Here, we roll out the welcome wagon, which is a good thing, but we'll, as a group, do you a disservice by not adequately answering your question. And this one is odd enough that you'll want to maximize views.

Hello and Welcome to R2R! As you can already see is that this is a section that pretty much just greats people. Specific questions can be asked in a specific forum. I used to dive for lobsters and once thought that it would be awesome to have a holding tank so that I could just take them out for dinner anytime I wanted lobster. That never panned out!
