Saltwater molly with fungus (?)

This is the only photo i can get until Tuesday unfortunately.

this molly was surrendered to us and she has what looks like fungus on her body and edges of fins, it does seem to be improving with waterchanges.

would a freshwater dip do anything?

Will need methelyne blue, malachite green or Maracyn 2. These fish are very susceptible to fungus.
Even though converted to salt, they also respond well to epsom salts

I have epsom salts so can begin that when i go back to work, do you have a recommended dose for salt per roughly 1gal of water? Have been trying to get my hands on methylene or malachite for a while , cant get maracyn 2 unfortunately

Is the other molly or the tang in the tank at risk?

Just to clarify: I can see this molly is adapted to saltwater. While FW mollies are prone to Saprolegnea fungus, salt kills that (thus using epsom salts in FW). So - this molly doesn't have fungus.

I see a soft coral in the background, that will limit what medications you can use.

Mollies, being black, show up every little defect in their skin very clearly. If the fish isn't showing any other symptoms and it seems to be improving like you noted, I wouldn't do anything right now.

This is my thoughts as well, plus its very high light so its probably just highlighting everything more lol. It eats a good meal every day and went from hiding up in the corner to actively swimming around now. I plan to do another waterchange soon.

Remember that mollies prefer looks of vegetable matter in their diet.

So the mollies definitely are sick with multiple issues. I do believe they had ich as our tang is now sick.

O.K., you had indicated that you thought the fish were improving, what are the issues they are showing now? A video under white light might help.

Sorry the pics didnt send. They seemed to be improving, but i guess they had ich. Our tang is covered now but the mollies only show a few spots
