What do you guys do to keep the glass above the water line inside the tank clean? i usually use a dry paper towel but it doesn't really help.

what do you have either:
  • spritzing saltwater along top edge of water
  • dropping water level

Water as it evaporates leaves salt behind - if you don't have an ATO, then perhaps that is your solution (and will help balance your salinity)

i have ato and yes its spitzing saltwater along top edge of water. it doesnt look that bad at most angles but i was just wondering how people handle it.

I scrape it when I clean the glass. That all it gets. I have too much stuff in my tanks to watch to spend time looking at my water line. That how I handle / don't handle it :winking-face:

So, my ATO enters into either my sumps (for 180 and 60 gallon tanks) or socks (for 4.7 gallon pico pair tanks). This keeps ATO itself from spritzing water at top edge.

Maybe move where ATO is located so it is further from edge
