Dear All,

I find it a little absurd to get a Facebook account to post on their FB page about this safety issue.
I purchased this unit new and received it a week ago. Upon powered up, I was surprised to get a minor electrical bite after touching on the metal case.
It puzzled me as just like most if not all reef electronics. They are usually power by an AC - DC adapter. And usually ground pin is not needed or they are plastic on certain plug system like the UK.

I reported the matter promptly telling them the equipment is faulty or there is a design issue. Could be a safety risk if there to toddlers or pets at home.
I proposed to return the item for a refund. Instead being sympathised and acknowledge about the hazard. I was asked to fix the electrical leakage with a ground wire!
I have attached a photo I taken initially and a video taken mins ago before posting this thread showing a 20Vac on my Fluke!

Please check yours if you have one.
