Was at the LFS the other day and their frag tank was very murky and all the corals were unhappy (shedding mucous?). . . anyway turns out they went through and scraped off all the brown palythoa that were growing ALL OVER the overflow and return plumbing. . . went back the next day (forgot to pick up something). . . and most the corals left in the tank were dead. There wasn't anything too crazy in there. . . wasn't full of holy grails and Colorado Sunrises or anything, but still super sad! Looks like they lost 3 huge plating monti colonies, think the biggest was 1.5 feet across. Also lost this big. . . tabling acro? not really sure what it was, brown skin with blue polyps. . . there were a few corals that survived, galaxea colony seemed happy as a clam, and a few of the frags were doing fine (including a red acro they sold me for 50% off).

Anyway I have no friends who keep fish so figured I would share on here. . .
