I quarantined a small tailspot blenny and a Kupang damsel. I just added them in and immediately my royal gramma started attacking and chasing them both. What should I do? Should I let them work it out or get involved?

Lights out
Feed extra

Watch for damage - torn fins. Missing scales.

Rearrange rock work

Isolate aggressor in acclimation box for few days

I added a tomini tang and my damsel relentlessly attacked for almost 24-36 hours. Tang had many nipped and torn spots on fins. I couldn’t catch either.

Then the Damsel just stopped. And never bothered him again

They have calmed down some after I fed a TON. Hopefully they will find their territories and sort it out soon.

Had the same thing happen. I added a small blue tang about the size of a half dollar and the royal gramma actually opened its mouth wide enough to latch onto the tang and was pushing her around the tank.
They were fine after a day or two but the royal gramma disappeared a few days later.
They are definitely territorial.
