Ok. I have been meaning to start this thread and a giveaway is just the motivation I need. My plan is to start with a 40 gallon breeder with a 20 gallon sump. If successful then I will change the 40 gallon to the sump, make the 20 a quarantine tank and get a bigger main. The wife has already made some comments about a bigger tank, so we will see. I gotta see if I can be successful first.

I'll start with pictures of the stand and then update as I get everything hooked up and running. For now, here the stand that is still under construction....

Stand is just about done. All wood is cut. Just going to make some tweaks. I will also be working on 2 cabinet doors but that won't stop the tank progress now.

Next step, the wife is going to paint it. I want to seal the top and a few.other minor things.

Thanks to my 15 year old for putting himself in the box so.i could get the measurements correct. I don't think he was thrilled to do it....

Wow that stand will hold a stack of 40g breeders. Maybe even a car ;) Well done.
This one has been holding mine for years. Only a single 1x2" center cross brace top and bottom. Granted it's in the basement so I'm the only one who sees it and no sump

Got the RO/DI setup completed this weekend. Goes from about 115 TDS to 0. B-e-a-utiful. Started at about 40 PSI. Hooked up a booster and now running about 90.
