EDIT: I realize that roller mats DO fit in filter sock holes. . . my bad. . . Also such thing as a manual roller (sounds silly to some I'm sure)? Maybe a roller that has a little crank on the side? Like everyday after work you come home and give the roller a crank?

Also by reading this you have entered a legally binding contract that if you build this I am entitled to a portion of your profits. . . just FYI

klir makes some I have never used them. but seen alot of talk on waterbox facebook page of people using them.
Blah, BTDT with the Klir. I had a heck of a problem with the 4" model, float switch and motor issues.

I have the KLIR 4" that works great on a 24" Red Sea cube tank.....works great for me. With the limited sump space, I didn't have many options unless I wanted to completely reconfigure or install a new sump.

The 4" KLIR is WAY better than changing filter socks every other day.

I’m a chronic over-researcher and looked at the kilr when planning my build. I concluded that I’d much rather take a router to an acrylic sump if I had to and get even a bubble magus over the klir. I personally cut out all of the glass in a Waterbox sump and got the aquamaxx. Every bit as good as the Clarisea SK-5000 for half the price. Off the charts bang for buck. Just mod your sump man. Despite the existence of the 7” klir, I personally find them to only be suitable Nano systems under 20 gallons and even then, the worst option.
