I need some lighting pointers after being out of the loop for 5 years or so.
Is our light setup enough for our 2 Derasa clams? I've noticed a bit of retracted mantle over the last week or so, and am worried they are getting starved of light. Moved them over to the patch of sandbed that receives natural sunlight. They look a bit happier after 24 hrs in their new location.
Of the 6 Kessil A150W's that came out of storage, 4 of them are salvageable. Prioritizing effective solutions vs. aesthetic and expensive solutions.
Any tips, recommendations, analysis you all could share? Much appreciated in advance..
- We've moved from a 40B (16" height)
- Now setup a 120g Eurobraced Peninsula
- 4 Kessil A150's, 10k Sky Blue color temp
- 10am to about 11:30am natural sunlight through high bay window hitting about 1/3 of the tank
