I'm setting up the APEX in the basement in my sump room. The sump and the tank are not at the same temperature due to cooling that occurs along the flow path. So, I'd like to set up an APEX temperature probe to remotely measure my tank temperature. Is there a simple way to do this over WIFI or do I need a separate APEX Jr at the tank to take care of tanks specific probes (e.g., plugged into my down flow line)?

You can run a long USB A to USB A cable between both locations and have a PM1 module on the other end measuring your Temp and other things.

You can even search where people used Cat5/6 cable with USB adapter on both ends to achieve the same result. I think if you keep it below 50ft in length you should be good.

Others will chime in if they've been able to run longer runs.
