The water I use for my Reef Tank comes from an RO Unit we have installed in the house. Because we use it as our drinking water as well, my Wife has been reading up on, and pushing me to to remineralize it. From what I'm seeing, it looks like this raises the PH to neutral or alkaline levels and adds back minerals like calcium and magnesium. My first thought is that this would be a good thing, but I'm not sure. I mainly use Tropic Marin Pro-Reef Salt.

So, in short, does anyone know if using remineralized RO water would be bad to use for a reef tank?

Keep everyone happy! Use a tee and remineralize your drinking water but not your rodi
