I have heard of a couple people with hippo's eat zoa's. Mine will when they get stressed. The thing is keep them fed, or they will sample. Hippo's are relentless once they find a food source.

I have heard that before also.....I had a purple tang start nipping my expensive teardrop maxima....He's lucky he didn't end up out in the yard where he could graze all he wanted. You have 2 choices now
1. Remove the fish
2. Remove the zoas and palys.

I know which one I would choose.
