Purchased this piece at RAP this weekend but it’s just to big for my tank. I paid 80 for it but willing to take the 20 dollar loss on it to get it in a new tank. $60 pick up in Logan square or meet up. I could ship it but would cost a boat load.

Lol- gone because he gave them away. Was wondering why boxes were disappearing and I asked on prices and wanted to buy big copperband butterfly before it was gone and told him I’d be back. When I returned, there were 2 small pieces left on his table

So i think you were at a different table. I believe you were with the guys that were also selling the Hanna Checkers and fish. They had pieces stocked up in there tanks and then pulled some out of the boxes also.

Yea i wish i paid that. But thats how this Hobby is. Sometimes you win some and some times you lose some.
its crazy how much prices can change from vendor to vendor. I went to one booth and my wife saw some firework polyps and they were $50 for a small frag. another booth had frags with like 10 heads on each for $15. I said see you don't it the first time you see it.

Yea for sure. I learned my lesson with coral. Stick with the local fish stores and people you been purchasing from. Exactly what you said is exactly what happens.
