Just installed the Reefmat 1200, and having bubbles coming out of the intake pipe as shown in the video.

The sump water level is just over the input to the reefmat, the tubing has been sealed, there is no air entering the drain in the overflow. So I’m stumped.

Anyone know what’s going on?

I just checked…., I have three units and all 3 of mine do that all the time
…it’s when the bubble/water overflow that I check that sensor….
otherwise I think it’s normal operation …
is it noisy?

It is not noisy, just making me think I did something wrong during installation.
the most common install error for me is a roller advance problem (the uptake/back roller improperly installed)…
..if you get overflow by that sensor where those bubble are coming up then the mat probably did not advance…often from slipping …
…also make sure that lil red rod is in front of the roll sheet

Seems to be rolling fine. I did notice that the fleece gets a little wet from all the bubble popping once they reach the top.
Checked the red roll and also the inlet pipe is twisted all the way. Everything seems fine as far as I can tell. Just confused on where those bubbles are coming from.

I believe these are cavitation bubbles. I'm not going to worry too much about it. It being a new installation is why I initially had some concern.
