I am having the hardest time finding anything online about optimal LPS light intensity on my ReefLED 50 in a Red Sea Max Nano.

I’ve seen the thread where people post their settings - and the consensus I get is I should stick to around 60% - although I have no PAR meter so Im stuck wondering if I should be pushing higher or if 60% is fine. Super annoying - any help would be appreciated! Here’s a shot of my schedule:

If nothing is wrong now, I'd leave well enough alone for awhile.

That said I believe you can certainly go higher. I'm using an RS90 on my maxnano @65% and I'm getting 200ish at the top of the rocks and 160 in the middle. Given the difference in power between the RS50 and RS90 is say you can easily go up to 80%. But do you need to

I’d probably stick to around 60% and see. It looks like your corals seem to be doing ok under the current settings?
I guess the main question would be what is the benefit of pushing the lights - and does that benefit outweigh the risks of going too far?

Did you purchase or rent an PAR meter? It would definitely take some weight off my shoulders to know what my levels are.

Im actually just getting going - so I’ve been inching my way up to 60% for the 4 months I had the tank.

I had a branching hammer shipped and it came in pretty rough shape and ended up not making it - so at the beginning I was almost just nursing that hammer with the lighting instead of just getting the tank to where it should be. Thought maybe there was too much light since it was losing color quickly, but in retrospect it probably didn’t matter what I did. Lesson learned :)

I rented a PAR meter a few weeks ago, and here are my results. At the tope left, the fractions are blue/white intensities. Pardon all the bubbles, I just glued some corals using epoxy, and my skimmer went nuts. Hope this helps!
