Hello everyone! I know some of you follow me on IG: https://www.instagram.com/reefer_nyc/ or my Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPlx8rEhnJSsmH3EMlBzeJA and wanted to start a thread on my upgrade process! So I've been in this hobby for easily over 15 years and relatively kept my tanks super simple. For this build I'm looking to use quality equipment and keep this tank as long as possible.

My waterbox 20 cube was getting a bit cramped so I decided to invest in a tank that filled in my apartment a bit more for the area it was going to be located.
Went back and forth between a 36" or a 24" but definitely knew i wanted to keep it under 16" high.
Finally decided on the discontinued Waterbox 55.2 Frag tank so set it up as a lagoon style tank!
Love the dimensions and fits perfectly within my small NYC apartment.

The Waterbox 55.2 is all set up and running! Enjoy:
Equipment List: -
Waterbox 55.2 Frag
- Sicce Syncra SDC 6.0 Return pump
- Dalua Great White Protein Skimmer
- Hydros XP8 + X4
- Illumagic Blaze X 60 LED
- Vitamini LED Strip
- Vivid Creative Aquatics RFG

I like the lower-profile shelf Marco pieces for a shallower tank. Scape looks good!

The Waterbox sump has that little ATO chamber - are you going to use it or repurpose the space?

Not sure yet! i do have a large ATO container already but... maybe a chaeto reactor? who knows
