Soooo.... I have a Red Sea Reefer 450...... Yea......
I have never posted it but as I am doing a Reefer build so might as well spill the beans :).

I will post more details soon.. This is a simple setup with no controller and has the original sump.

I will post better pic's with some shots of the sump and so on... It is a bare bone system though so nothing fancy...... .. Yet..... Just wanted to share :)

Here are pic's of the sump and the electrical side. Also the remote ATO.

The sump is 100% bare bones... with everything easy and quick to maintain no crazy controller or Calcium reactor just a sump. I have my fancy over the top tank and will have another one soon. This one I wanted to keep it "Old School" :p.

Yes there is no controller on this tank and never will be most likely. It also runs Jebao wave makers and a Waveline return pump.

I also run a simple turbo twist UV to polish the water... All of my systems run UV for this reason. It also can help with algae blooms and so on.

Other then that I have a Tunze ATO 3155 I literally own 10 or so of them and not once have they ever failed. Not much else to say... It is honestly a simple setup that just works.

On the plus side you don't have to rob a bank to have this build unlike most of my systems.

This is the 40 gallon ATO as i hate filling ATO's Might be a 75 gallon this year. I will never hook up a tank to a R/O (I have flooded my house from doing this once) so I am left with big ATO's.

I like the area 51 tank! I never thought you kept any going longer than your next build starting! Lol

Absolutely beautiful tank! Crystal clear water, wonderful aquascape, and very healthy critters!

The Area 51 tank is fun I must admit.. Surprisingly I have a few "secret tanks" I keep them going as I enjoy having a mature tank to slow me down on my newest system. If i had no saltwater fix i would rush twice a fast to get a system going. It also holds some over and above coral I have collected over the years.
