The pumps look similar sans the impeller. If i were to swap impellers, could i convert a 2S to an S and have the increased flow? I inherited a 2S and want to put it to work. Thoughts?

Don’t think it will work, I had a 6s that went out and I bought the 8 return pump thinking I could just put the needle wheel impeller on it but it didn’t work, the magnetic fields were different and would not feed into the housing. But that was my experience your may be different.

Well that makez sense. Those pumps are even different wattages. The 6s and 6 are the same form factor so im betting that would have worked had you not tried moving up to an 8. From what I can tell, the 2s are the same body unless im missing something.
