I will consider trades of things like other pumps, livestock or whatever.
This is an older model. They now sell these with Aquatrance pumps. My guess is they're cheaper. This skimmer has the Reef Octopus brand OTP-1000 pumps on it. I have used the pumps for a while to mix saltwater, but I figured I could stand to get rid of all this...and besides I just bought an extra OTP-2000 from Rob. Before you get any bright ideas for modification with the OTP-2000...I tried it...it flows way too much and overflows the skimmer.
Below are the specs on it. It is rated up to a 135 gallon tank, but I ran it for quite a while on a 220g and it did fine.
Water Flow 125gph
Air intake 180lph
Watts 13
The two pumps alone run $55.99 each from Reef Octopus. This thing is big, which is why I put the can next to it for reference. It is quiet, having silencers on both air intakes. I had to get my ear about 2in from them to hear them sucking air.
