Hi
I have approx 750 gph tunze return. I dont know the actual model # but I know it should be pretty quiet. It's not, it has an annoying, not quite loud hum. I have it directly connected to pvc pipe. I was reading that the humm should reduce if I have a flexible vinyl clear tubing between the pump and the pvc. Is that right?
TIA

Ill also take the pump out of water and open and reseat the impeller, it's a little more than a hum. my other tank has no tubing attached like I asked and I can barely hear it. I'll turn it down also and still might do the silicone tubing.
