I am looking at getting a Clarisea sk-3000 for my Reefer 250. I know I need to remove the filter sock holders as well as the glass partition between the return chamber and the rest of the main sump. I believe the return pipe is 32mm but I am not sure. I would like to connect the fleece roller with tubing and barbed fittings, I am just not sure of all the materials, adapters etc that I would need in order to complete this conversion.

How have others addressed this in your Red Sea Sumps? Thanks in advance.

32mm to 1” conversion pipe is the way to get to standard pipe. If you want to preserve your stock plumbing you can buy Red Sea part #42221 which screws on right under the bulkhead.

I would caution against using soft tubing on a drain line. Even under the best conditions soft tuning generally collapses or kinks overtime which could be a large issue.
