Red Sea s-1000 G2 filled for 3 weeks showing discoloration all around the seal. Should I be concerned?

Does the discoloration appear normal?

I’ve read a ton of horror stories about Red Sea aquariums failing and as much as I love the tank, I’m living in anxiety of finding 200+ gallons of water on my floor.

First, it's a newer S-1000 G2 - so many of the issues with seals were related to the stand and absence of a support strut. Second, I'm not seeing the discoloration you're referring to (but it could be my eyesight or just viewing on my tablet).

If you do have any concerns definitely reach out to Red Sea.

My Red Sea reefer 250 looks like this too. I’ve chalked it up to the way the blue lights hit the silicone. Once my lights are off the silicone is the normal black color. Most times if the seal is failing you’ll see your sand get between the seal and the glass
