Few updates this week:

Added:
2 Vortech MP10QD
Random Flow Nozzle from @Vivid Aquariums
Radion XR30 Gen 4 for the lights

Will be using MarineBio Block and Spheres as an additional bio filtration. I have used it in the past and will keep using it.

I am setting up my reefer nano mixed reef as well! No matter how much I check I can't find any other reefers with an advanced set up on a reefer nano. Im super glad were in this together! Do you have any DIY plans or specific upgrades your thinking about for your sump?

Hey, all posting some pics soon. Im just trying to make it as simple as possible. Im waiting for the ReefDose and will dose All-for-reef by tropic Marin, install a skimmer, do a bigger ATO outside the sump ofcourse, will run an algae scrubber. No other modifications. I always believe on keeping it simple but stable.

I have the same setup in mind, currently Im stuck on deciding for a skimmer that will do a good job but be as quiet as possible and where to put my dosing system inside the sump. Cant wait to see your plans for your sump hopefully I can acquire some inspiration!

The issue we are forced to face with our Reefer Nano is the space. I was torn between Bubble Magus Z-5 and the IceCap K1 series but settled with the Z-5 as it saves me much space. I will post more pics soon when that Reefdose comes.

So since I’m doing All-For-Reef dosing by Tropic Marin, I need a dosing containers. With limited space, I decided to go with the Glass Voss Bottle containers. and with that, i need a stand/mount. Well, guess what I found… a stand by koova. They are made to store spray bottle, but fortunately I was able to request them to make one that can accommodate the Voss glas bottles, then wala!!! Be updating more once the doser arrives and where I’ll end up mounting this…

I love this. Consequently Etsy has multiple sellers who sell this exact holder and/or will make you ones depending on your container sizes.

What’s the placement on your vortechs and how high are they turned up?
i had them both at the back wall on 80% reefcrest antisync as this tank will be sps dominated. left side is about 5 inches from the bottom, the right is about 5 inches from the top
