Hi all.
I have two year old Reefer 250 and original valve was replaced with 32mm gate valve year ago. This was because original valve was continuously stuck with random debris or crap (not crab, haha...)
But now i have had slight bubble algae problem and there are sometimes bubbles hoovering around that will find its way to overflow and gate valve. And because on slightly low return pump flow i have quite small gap in gate valve and bubbles are stuck insive valve which will cause water level rise in weir and sound from emergency drain.
Now i have updated gate valve slightly smaller so I can get little bit rounder hole inside valve. But still bubbles are stuck inside valve if those are big enough.
I dont want greater turnout flow. What i can do? Sponge filter inside weir before pipes that will collect debris? Attached photo shows larger gate valve hole, quite thin..
