Build equipment
After doing a stupid amount of lurking on the forms, and watching every BRS investigates video I could, I set up my Red Sea Reefer 200xl. My tank has finally reached a sort of homeostasis with the auto 2-part dosing and I'm starting to see specks of coralline algae appear on the rocks! The frags are starting to grow and I'm pretty happy with the results so far. I learned some hard lessons about light intensity after my birdnest almost completely bleached before I fragged it and moved the lights much farther away from the top of the tank. My biggest hurdle has been keeping phosphate levels where they need to be, as I just figured that I should be washing frozen food before I throw it in the tank.
The pic below is where I was at 4 weeks ago. When the lights go on tonight I'll post pictures of what I've got going on now I hope I'm not messing anything up, a little bit nervous about what some of the veterans here might say
