Has anyone ever seen these two together? I just added a firefish to my tank and almost had a heart attack this morning when I couldn't find him anywhere until I flashed a light into my tiger pistols burrow. I thought he was dead until he moved from one spot to another. Has anyone ever seen these guys pair up? I thought it was other types of gobies like the red banded hi fin or watchman etc. I thought he was shrimp meat

They aren’t known to pair up and form what you would call a true bonded pair but there are some that have been known to coexist in the same burrow as a pistol shrimp.

Thankfully he came out from the caves when the lights came on today *phew*
Haha, that’s good - Although he will decide that whenever scraped or sleepy that’s where to go.
