Sorry if this is in the wrong place I didn't see anything about sponges on the Forum topic page.
I just got a Red Dragon fire Sponge and was wondering if anyone had any experience with these and if so any advice?

The only real advice I can offer for sure for this specific sponge (Clathria (Clathria) prolifera) is that it eats Isochrysis galbana (T-Iso),* so offering it some regularly may prove beneficial. Beyond that, it grows on solid surfaces (like rocks, dock pilings, etc.), it is often found in the intertidal zone, and it's said that it can handle high brackish salinities (reportedly as low as 15ppt).

I'm down in the lower Chesapeake Bay area and that stuff is everywhere. There seems to be pretty decent swings (especially with a ton of rain) back in the creeks and it doesn't really seem to care.
