I just picked up two new RD3 pumps for my closed loops. Id like to control them from my apex and found a module for this purpose and I will need one per pump.

My question is how do these connect to the apex 0-10v port? Each of the apex 0-10v ports has two signals. Do the RD modules have a splitter or does each module take up the whole 0-10v port?

I plan to use one port for my tunze wavebox, so if i need 2 ports for the RD's will I need a VDM module just to serve these two pumps?

I finally got answers.

For the Red dragon speedy3 line the 150w and 230w pumps have the controller built in, and only require the cable. Anything smaller and you need the module.

Unfortunately the cable takes up the entire 1-10V port on the apex. These ports usually control two items not just one. Since I have 3 items that will need 1-10v control, I ended up getting a VDM apex module just for my two red dragon pumps.

One can easily put together a splitter using Ethernet cable with RJ-45 jack and 2 keystone ports
