So I”m going to add a CO2 scrubber to bump my pH a bit. It’s not terrible, usually ranges from 7.9 to 8.1, but I’d like to get that a bit higher. I’ve read that setting up a scrubber in a recirculating fashion helps to raise pH more and makes the media last longer. I see attachments for skimmers, but it looks like I could easily DIY my skimmer cup but I just wanted to confirm. Could I essentially just drill my skimmer cup and fit a 3/8“ barb and run that to the scrubber input, and run the scrubber output into my skimmer as usual?
