Reborn media

How’s it going reefers ! Anyone have any thoughts or experience on using reborn media as substrate ? I see WWC uses it in a lot of their systems and speaks highly of it. I am building another reef tank. It’s a custom order 158 gallon. 48.5 by 30 by 25 high. I’ve built a HNSA aquascape , that only used 60 or 70 pounds of Marco rock. So I feel it may not be enough for bacteria growth. And I’m really not going to have room in the sump for rock. So, I’m thinking the reborn might be a good idea for this build ? I look forward to any info , thoughts or opinions my fellow hobbyists might have. Thanks in advance! My friends call me Big J

Sounds like you have made a decision. You could always add a cryptic sump hob Refugium or both.

I swapped out my sand for reborn cause of the wwc video I really love the look can’t wait till it gets coraline so the corals pop under blues
