My tank is stable and I will begin to SLOWLY repopulate the tank. I am working towards keeping and maintaining a Hawaiian ridgeline/insular Pacific/Indo Pacific shallowish reef ECOSYSTEM. (The dream every one wants to live, I know.) Inverts, micro flora/fauna/bacteria, and macro algae is first on this list. I have multiple tanks seasoned and stable. (Around 100 gallons available aquastate) currently home to lots of live rock/recycled coral. Copepod population is booming. There are a few snails, hermit crabs, the “pest “starfish, Small feather duster worms, macroalgae, film algae, and microscopic jellyfish, among the identifiable life forms in the tank since it recovered from the big catastrophe a few months ago. Tank has been stable for about a month.

Here’s what is on my list (I do not expect to have anything or all of what I have listed in my tank due to scarcity and obscurity of some of these species.)

*slaps knee* haha!
Yeah, it is intense. But I at least know what I want and that it going to be a challenge to obtain most of this list. Which is also why the list is so long, my tank of course cannot sustain EVERYTHING on this list simultaneously and still be healthy and manageable... it’s kinda first come first acquired. There are a few specimens that need to go together and be introduced to the tank simultaneously. Otherwise I would have population control issues.

I listed them with the scientific names because I have had online vendors (before I joined R2R) send me the incorrect species and argue that they sent me the correct ones based on pictures. *rolls eyes* image showed dwarf species of Calcinus seurati and Calcinus laevimanus... they sent me Clibanarius vittatus... their “experts” said that the species sent was the same in the image on their website. *Grumble* images attached of what was sent and what I ordered.

it was a joke. your list is intense
