Hey guys. Since taking all my tanks down from my home about 6 months ago, I've been waiting for a new project to take on. And when Perfecto launched their new glass Cube tanks, I decided to set one up.

Tank details.
Perfecto 93 Gallon Glass Cube. 30"x30"x24"high. Tank is a Reef Ready corner flow. Stand is a black Monterey Series with removable side panels.

Return pump is a submersible Marineland Maxi Jet 5500 Utility Pump which pushes the limits of the stock drain.

Using a Octopus NW-150 skimmer and an Oceanic 20 gallon sump.

Lighting is my a Current Outer Orbitz single 250w HQI and 4 T5's
I took the stock 10K halide out and replaced it with a Reeflux 12K. T5's are 2 24w 460nm and 2 24w 420nm bulbs.
Fixture has some led moonlights, but haven't hooked them up yet. Also need to put a couple Powerbrite LED bars on it.

Rock is mostly Tonga Branch.

Currently, there is a pair of Semi Picasso clowns, pair of Naked clowns, pair of Black Ocellaris clowns, and a pair of Platinum clowns. So far so good except one of the Platinum's has some bumps on his head and does not hang out with the pack. Also added a Cave Shrimp. It's similar to a coral banded, but with more white.

Just a couple tester corals in there for now.

Here's a couple shots I took at the one week mark.

Hey Sara,
How's things? Heading to MACNA this year?
Perfecto started by making the Marine Series Tanks that are all 36" wide. The smallest is a 36"x36"x27" cube tank. Those came out about a year ago. And now they have 18"x18" cubes, 24"x24" cubes, and the 30"x30" cube. I think they are all available in 18" height or 24" height.

Hey Blackhawk fan,
You'll love it. Such a great size. I had a hard time deciding between the 24"x24"x24" 60 gallon and this one. The stands are completely different. The 60 stand is 33" tall, completely open back and no removable sides while the 93 stand is much shorter. I like that I can hang over the top of the 93 like a lookdown tank.

The tank is around 2 weeks old so I added some corals.

I love cubes Randy. My current tank, that I'm in the process of taking down, is an Envision 48x48x25. They are great to aquascape. Yours is coming along very nicely. I look forward to more updates and pics as things mature.

I was only able to get the one pair so far.

I would bet it would be easy to locate a pair because of their high selling price.

What city do you live in?

They are fairly new, so not all fish stores have them in stock, but most of them should be able to order you one. They are made by Perfecto, so most stores on the East coast should have access to them.

Hey Paul,
I've got a tiny black tang and a tiny Chevron tang in QT right now waiting to go into this tank. I also added a bunch of Acans last week, and a large chunk of the famous(in Western NY) Todd's Torch.
I'll have to bring the camera home from work to take some updated shots.

My mini colony of Happy Endings will be going in soon.

Marine cube

Greetings,

after a few phone calls I managed to find out that Perfecto Manufacturing is located in Nobelsville, IN (I live in Columbus, IN) so just one hour north of my place. They do not sell to the public though so I need to find a local distributor.

cheers,
Marian
