Thanks. personally i like the first one the best. I bought the cap as a frag about the size of my thumbnail. They truly are a fun coral to watch grow over the months, they spread like wildfire.

Great shots...

try to focus on the closest portion of the subject, and let your aperture do the rest of the work for you. This will get all of the subject in focus. Your white balance is great. Keep up the good work.

Those pics are taken free hand. I really need to get a tripod or at least a setup to keep things more steady. Any suggestions?

:D sure...manfrotto tripod and pistol grip head w/quick release...should be able to find a great setup online for about 200 bucks...i know its not cheap, but you'll understand when you get it why its so expensive. Dont buy carbon fiber....no need unless you're into hiking, and need to haul it around constantly...

Turn your flow off in your tank...even fans blowing across the top if you can.

Then in terms of focus points and what not, look at my photo sticky...its explains it clear as day in there. If anything is confusing PM me, and id be happy to break it down further.

What mode are you shooting under? also, if everything appears to be coming out over exposed play around with your exposure compensation settings. Take it down a step or two. The Tripod is key. Most important tool in macro photography.
