I use tropic marin pro. And it mixes at 7.5 dkh. I want to to raise the dkh in the mix to 8.5, ans mg from 1320 to 1440. Is that possible to do it in the mix before i do a water change or is that dangerous? My tank sitting at 7m4 dkh currently. And i want to do a water change tmw. My system is 51 gallon water volume

I have red sea for now would it work?
If in powder form, than it's Sodium Bicarbonate (aka baking soda).
Otherwise, it'll be a combination of both Sodium Bicarbonate and Sodium Carbonate if I remember correctly.

Both will do just fine, only the other may slightly raise your PH.
