I picked up a frag on Dec 1st via online from TCK. Coral arrived healthy - great polyp extension, but it was not as colorful in the pics. I've yet to get it to color up. Polyp extension is still good, and it seems to be growing, but it's just pretty blah as far as coloration goes. I also picked up a grafted sunfire cap from them on the same order and that has probably already doubled in size since I got it with great color. Any idea on why the Tenuis isn't coloring up?

Different frags different strokes.

Some take longer to settle in, some don't.

Is it in approx, par, flow, alk, Yada yada yada from where it came?
Flow is good.
I have a par meter attached to the same frag plate it's on right now:

That max being 225ish.
I use a Trident and periodically check it with Hanna - numbers are pretty consistent Alk-8.5-9 Ca - 375-410 Mg - 1300-1400

Nitrates have been 0 so I've been feeding more. Phosphates have been hovering between 4-6. I add amino acids a few times a week.

I hope you mean Phosphates are 0.04 to 0.06?

Don't worry it could literally take months to see any change, as long as it's not getting worse or losing tissue don't worry just yet. :)

If the monti is doing good that quick, im sure it's just a matter of time for the RST.
