So a couple years ago I got this “rainbow” blasto in a trade.

It didn’t look that rainbow to me, but it was very bright and I didn’t have one like it, so it was cool. I grew it out then cut it up and reserved one of the pieces as a grow out sold a couple and kept one of the other frags as a back up grow out. Eventually it got a green streak in one of the heads so when I fragged that piece I made sure to keep that head. That one grew out, and most of the heads were still just orange but the green streak grew and there was some blues too, so I cut that up to try again to isolate some of the bits with blue and green and ended up with several frags that had a little bit of the green and red. Now as they grow out I have a couple small heads developing that look, at this time, like they are all blue. Pretty wild all and all and I thought I would share. All of the frags and grow outs pictured came from the same original 1 or 2 head frag I acquired, that was just solid orange/red. To me this is one of the things that keeps me interested in the hobby.

I didn’t get a lineage with the trade but if pictured in the right lighting it looks a lot like the pictures of the WWC rainbow blasto I see. Please share your rainbow blastos. Not sure how unusual this is but would love to see pics of similar rainbow blastos, or different rainbow blastos you might have. And I will try to update this post with some pics as they grow out 52E72A9B-3EB7-439E-92C9-EAE57E693EC0.jpeg
