I want to add some t5s to my radion but I’m not sure how to go about this and I really don’t want to stress out my corals. I just feel like it could remove some of the shadowing and help with spread. I have an IM 50 lagoon and I run the radions at 30%. I want to slowly get them up to 40% based on my par measurements but maybe adding some t5s would be even better.

is this advisable? Will it add to much intensity and stress out my corals? What product do y’all recommend?

Your XR30 is already overkill for your IM tank.
yea i decided to stick with it and keep it at 30%, no need to impulse buy anything when corals look good. My intensity is definitely not over kill as im only getting 200-250 par at the highest point of my rocks.

If you get heavily into SPS you may want to bump up that slightly to 35% (especially if you opt for diffusers).

Yea I do have the diffuser and some acros and montis. 35-40 percent puts that section at 300-400 par and I want to acclimate it to that intensity at some point but I’m just letting everything settle in because currently all sps looks happy.

I was running 30-35% with the diffuser when I had it over my IM lagoon.
