Happy Holidays to all... Quick question for the experts.
I just added water finally to my G2 750, when I try to adjust the gate valve it does absolutely nothing, fully open it has a stop to let you know it completely open, but in the close direction it spins endlessly and makes no changes as I am trying to quiet down the intake flow.... Any thought or am I doing something wrong?

Here's what a member said pertaining to the older ones. I know yours is new so the cleaning doesn't pertain but perhaps the small increment adjustments may. Besides putting an actual gate valve on it..all I got. Hope it helps.

Thank you, unfortunately since this spins in the close direction and has no stop unlike open, I think this may be a faulty gate valve. Even adjusting and waiting a few minutes, I get no change in water level at the weir ... Probably need to call Red Sea about a replacement... Have a fantastic holiday!

Similar issue here with a 350 g2. The valve seems to provide no restriction when fully closed. Did you get yours sorted out?

Yes, I didn't need completely closes but it does take literally 50 turns to the right to get flow slowed down... More than any reasonable human would suspect... Pete

Thought I closed it all the way, but after seeing this, was able to turn it several more times. Works great now. Thank you!
