Hello everyone! I am currently setting up a coral reef aquarium for my school that's far away from the ocean. I think it's a great way to introduce a part of the earth to students who'd otherwise never see the natural beauty of the ocean.
To the point, I have a 10 gallon, 20"x10" tank with stock LED lights. Here's link to it: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=36528
I have tried looking through other websites and forums for appropriate replacement lights, as I've heard that stock lights are typically pretty bad, but I'm worried that I would spend $100-$300 on lights that don't fit. So my question is: What lights should I buy? I'm trying to grow some polyp coral, if that helps, and I have about $300 to spend. If you need any information I will try to fill you in with links or info. Any answers are appreciated, thank you very much!
