Question on cycle and when to move fish

I setup a new tank next to my old one. I used about 3 large chunks of rock from my old tank and about the same in new dry rock. I used live sand. In the sump I mixed new and some marine pure balls from my old tank. I also used a bottle of Dr Tims. Question is with a good mix of old and new rock and live sand can I actually move over a few fish this soon. ? I put water in the tank yesterday.

If it were me I’d put some ammonia in and if it’s gone the next day you are prolly ok. If not you will probably go through a mini cycle. Without testing it’s hard to say.won’t take long probably.

With that much live rock/media, plus the bottle of Dr. Tim's, you're fine... add the fish

I know I have done a full tank switch over before but this one is half and half so I wanted to be sure. Maybe I will add one I have an ammonia monitor on the tank and the other tank is inches away if I need to move him back
