The picture has three Montipora frags. Left to right are Superman, JF Fruity Pebbles and Rainbow. Three inches between each one.

Originally, I only had the two outside frags and I thought they both died. They were covered with algae. So, I bought the center one. Well, apparently they weren’t dead and are both coming back. Now I have three Monti frags all within 7” of each other.

As they grow out, what will happen? Will one just grow over the others or will there be chem warfare, death and destruction? The JF Fruity Pebbles in the middle is growing really fast. I don’t really have another ledge to put encrusting Monti’s.

lol, there will be no devastating war.

They will encrust until they meet. Then, they will either agree to live peacefully and not push, or else one will slowly push the other back. Its a verrrrrrry slow process.
Lol! Good to know. I was worried I was setting them up for battle. Could be pretty if they merge and mix a little.
