Ok. If no one else will ask I will. Where in the world did you get that fish? Who neglected it so badly? If that was a horse or dog or something they’d be arrested!

I really hope he makes it! We n Ed a before and after rescue thread on here. Think I’ll start one.

Updates of treatment? Worked? Tomorow I Will receive a Purple Tang with Fin Rot and would like to get some directions. Thx
Melafix and clean water conditions should help this get healed up

Gem tang I was treating Made a good recovery. Still time for fins to grow completely but they are on the right path. Found that after about a month in quarntine I found sand at bottom of tank. I believe this is what caused the fin rot. He must of been eating it and caused a blockage and infection. Combination of medications and time with a healthy diet he passed the sand thru and fins began growing again

I just received the fish and he is being treated with antibiotics. he was at a friend's sump in his dental office. He didn't know what to do because do not having a hospital tank. I believe that due to the restriction of people circulation the fish was not receiving food every day, he is a little lethargic. I will do my best to try to recover it.
