Proper pronounciation…ready to play?

Alright so I know I’ve seen a few of these threads on here but don’t recall this fish being in the list. To start with, I don’t have the answer and did not look it up as I wanted to see opinions first. The proper pronounciation of “Tomini” in Tomini Tang.

The guys at the LFS got into an argument over this and I had my own way as well, so I figured it should be fun on here (please pardon the grammatical errors).

I pronounce it Tom-in-ee
How the LFS guys were saying it:
Toom-in-ee
To-mini
Toe-me-nee
Toe-mini

So what say ye? What do you think it is (or know it is) and what are some others you’ve come across?

I've always heard & said Toe-me-nee, however the most common pronunciation I hear is tom-in-eye.

toa mee nee..... well English is not my first language so i just try to muddle along with the fish name. But is is fun to see that even English speaking native cannot agree on pronunciation.
