So hard to get good pictures but I did the best I could. Was wondering if anybody could identify this. I have quite a few of them around my tank. To the naked eye it has clear like tubes with the bubbles you can see on the end. It looks like there's two of them side by side the one towards the bottom seems more developed.

"Ball anemones" a small species of psuedocornactis mushroom, larger species are very predatory, these still are, but only to really small inverts.

Just to clarify this because I find it interesting - Ball Anemone is actually more widely used than that. Ball anemone is a term used for all Corallimorphs (members of the taxonomic family Corallimorphidae); Pseudocorynactis is one of the four genuses in the family.

The other current genera are Corallimorphus, Corynactis, and Paracorynactis.

There are only about 23 currently recognized species in the family, so it's not very big, but there's a decent amount of variation in color and size of these creatures.

Anyway, yes, this is a Ball Anemone of some variety, and - as mentioned - they're arguably a kind of soft mushroom coral (soft mushroom corals being from the taxonomic order Corallimorpharia, same with ball nems). They're generally harmless in our tanks, though they are technically predatory. Some species may reproduce quickly in aquariums and be a bit of a nuisance that way, but they're neat critters.

Thanks guys I appreciate the help. Do they get much bigger? Or they stay rather small?
